Betty's 40 years of teaching fitness to children and older adults makes her a valuable speaker to organizations, resident homes, adult day-care centers and corporate functions. 

In an atmosphere designed to be fun and involving, participants will learn how thirty years in four different environments and the resultant diversity of each environment formed the basis upon which "The Balance SystemŽ" was developed.


The "Balance System" is a series of movements and simple exercises for improving balance, space depth perception, increasing flexibility, leg strength, endurance and reducing the fear of falling.

Participants will also learn how to fall "the safe way", mastering relaxation techniques that will reduce the potential for serious injury should a fall occur.

The participants will learn how to make participation fun for their clients using unique teaching aids such as masking tape, a foot rug, a one-inch high portable balance beam, and special music and songs.
